Today, my sweet friend Gwendolyn is sharing on the blog. She is the prayer team director for the Indianapolis Women of Faith Conference. Gwendolyn is in need of women who are willing to step out and pray. There is no denying the power of prayer and I ask that you read through the information provided and then contact her to sign up to make a difference.
Calling Women of Faith
Volunteers needed in Indianapolis
Many of you have experienced the Women of Faith Tour in years past. This inspiring program is coming to Indianapolis once again September 26 & 27, 2014. Transform your soul, awaken your spirit, and revive your faith at our 2014 event: From Survival to Revival. At this all-new event you’ll receive powerful Bible teaching, be inspired by uplifting music, enter into authentic worship, and more. Experience the renewal that comes from spending time in the presence of God. Discover new joy and a fresh sense of purpose. Gather your group, call your friends, and put your family on notice. It’s time to plan for From Survival to Revival!
This year we are calling for volunteers to be part of the Indy Prayer Team. Members of this elite group will commit to attend the event and be responsible for one hour of earnest prayer either walking the floor or one hour of earnest uninterrupted prayer in the prayer room. Are you known for the spiritual gift of prayer? Do you feel lead to participate in this multi-state revival? Do you know someone who would also like to join? Please visit our Indy Prayer Team website at www.IndyPrayerTeamWOF.blogspot.com to sign up or to print a flyer to hang in your church lobby.
Prayer is needed to bring revival to the participants, many coming for the first time to a spiritual event.
Prayer is needed for the leaders and speakers, to give confidence and to bless their words.
Prayer is needed to bring revival to the area.
Please feel free to visit the website or to call me personally with any questions. We would like to have at least 50 volunteers in the Indianapolis area.
The wonderful people at Women of Faith have decided to incorporate something new this year into their 20 city tour, a city prayer team. They have selected a leader for each state. Gwendolyn David is the leader for the Indianapolis group. I am privileged to sit under her leadership and be a part of this prayer team. There is still time for you to become a part of this group. All you need to do is leave your name in the comment section of this post and I will pass it along to Gwen who will get in touch with you and give you all the information you need.
If you do not live in Indiana, you can find a prayer group in your state or volunteer to pray across the miles. As a prayer team member you commit to praying for the speakers, worship team, volunteers, host city and participants from now until the conference in September. Our focus is specifically praying for the “one”. The lady who attends the conference and gives her life to Christ. The first conference on the Women of Faith tour, Columbus, Ohio, there were over 200 “ones” who gave their lives to Christ.
Make no mistake, there is power in prayer. We need to pray for these ladies to not just exist in survival mode, but revival. Will you join us?
I would also encourage you to post a prayer in the comment section today whether you want to be a part of the city prayer team or not. Let’s storm the gates of heaven today.
“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” Psalm 85:6
Today I have the privilege of having Gwendolyn David sharing with you about the Women of Faith “From Survival to Revival” Tour and the local Kick-Off event that you are invited to. Gwendolyn is the prayer leader for the Indianapolis conference.
Women of Faith is a Christian event for all to enjoy from ages 14-104. Next year Women of Faith ministries will celebrate 20 years. This year the conference tour will be in 20 cities throughout America, (check website for your city).
The theme for 2014 is from survival to revival. The conference is a time we all get together & let our hair down to praise and worship God. It is also a time that we are fed the word of God, so that we really do come from a place of Survival mode to truly being Revived. This conference will allow women to be refreshed and renewed in our faith so that we can leave this revival and take something back to our friends, our family and those who don’t know God.
For those who have been to Women of Faith Conference in the past there are some new things this year. The Women of Faith Ministries have chosen prayer leaders for every city that we come to, and we are looking for other women to join our prayer city teams, our goal is (50) but we would welcome more. Don’t miss out; there are discounts for group ticket sales.
The Women of Faith Ministries is having a prayer city Kick-off for Indianapolis, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Kingsway Christian Church. Check out the invitation link for more information. REVIVAL Kick Off Invitations_Indianapolis
