I was wondering if you would be willing to help me today. You see, I have lost something very precious and I would like to find it as soon as possible. What is it, you may be asking yourself? The answer is time.
You see, it seems like only yesterday I was cuddling with my adorable, independent blue-eyed baby girl. Watching in amazement as she grew and developed. Even smiling now as I think back at her “great escape” at about 6 months of age. Taylor managed to get out of her crib and crawl into the other room without a scratch. That was the last time she had anything in her bed besides a blanket.
It brings me such joy to think back on that time. However, something has happened. It feels like I merely turned around twice and she is turning 17 and we’re ordering graduation announcements and selecting a college. Where did all that time go?
We are told in the Bible that “life is but a vapor”, but I didn’t really grasp that concept until I saw it with my kids.
I employ you today to make the most of every single day, every single moment God gives you. We are not promised tomorrow, so live for Him today.
What will you do today to be more intentional about the time you have been given?
