Blessings of Community

Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies have blessed my life in so many ways. It all started almost three years ago when I was searching for a Bible study. I happened upon Melissa Taylor’s blog and she was getting ready to start on online study over Made to Crave. As one who struggles with weight issues, this sounded like an answer to prayer. Besides, I wouldn’t have to worry about childcare or bad weather.

I was hooked almost immediately. I loved the sense of community on the blog. I was simply amazed that others responded to my comments. In the sea of participants, I was noticed. This was just the tip of the iceberg and I wanted more. As one study was drawing to a close I was already looking to the next study. I was learning and growing in my faith like never before, besides making friends with women around the world.

Since then I have become a member of the teaching team, leadership team and the director of the Real Hope Prayer Warrior team, not to mention the countless ways God has worked through each and every study to teach me, mold me and draw me closer to Him.

If you haven’t already I would encourage you to sign up for the study online Bible study through Proverbs 31 – A Confident Heart. It is an incredible book that will change your life.

If you have participated in any of the Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies, I would love to hear your story.

  1. Jamy, I’m starting my 3rd study and I’m looking forward to being confident in Christ and not my own self. I’m having to lead a ministry for grieving loved ones on my own this session. We started October 1 and go till December 17. I am really having to trust God but in my stress my eatting of junk sweet foods has taken off.

I just realized the book you wrote and I look forward to reading it this December when I have no studies and can really focus on it. Thank you especially for your prayers. Others say I’m a prayer warrior and I thank you for your continued prayers for us all.

  2. This is my 3rd OBS. Like you, I stumbled upon her website (or were we led?, hmmmm). Since then I look forward to each new one. I have a friend doing this one with me. Also love the connection with the A21/P31 campaign which led me to a local group doing the same work. God is awesome!

  3. Jamy, my first OBS was when Renee did her own A Confident Heart OBS last spring. Since that time I participated in the SLL OBS, the “Yes to God” Bible study, Julie Gillies “Prayers for a Woman’s Soul” and Suzie Seller’s “Faith: 30 days to intimacy with God”. It has been such a beautiful journey through OBS! Looking forward to a another perspective of study with “A Confident Heart” and Proverbs31!
