Well, it is hard to believe that week 1 of Movin’ Mondays is already over. I am going to share my journey with you. Last Monday, I was so excited to get started with the Shapely Girl Fitness DVD review. I chose to use the “Let’s Get Stepping” DVD. Since, I had done some step aerobics in the past, I opted not to do the tutorial. In hindsight, I would highly recommend going through the tutorial. Anyhow, I started right in with the workout. Since, I haven’t been very active the workout certainly took it out of me. However, I felt so good after I completed it – a real sense of accomplishment. I will tell you that I was a little sore the next day, but not too bad. I worked out with the DVD on Wednesday and then Saturday. I chose not to do the full workout those two days. The wonderful thing about the Shapely Girl Fitness DVDs is that there is a premix section on the DVD. This offers some shorter workouts to choose from. I love the idea that you get to pick and choose what will work for your time and energy level for that particular day. I also really love the encouragement that Debra gives throughout the workout.
Now, for what you really want to know – the results. Before I give you the numbers, I do want to emphasize that I did not change any of my eating habits and as noted I did opt for the shorter workouts on two of the days. However, I was so surprised yesterday when I did my measurements. I had lost 3 pounds and 1 to 2 inches on my bust, hips and waist. More than these results, I felt like I had more energy. I can’t wait to see what this week holds.
